Worst experience ever for Canada post! I wanted to post a parcel of 28.5kgs weight and 18 x 18 x 24 inch dimension. I got a quote online from the canada post website after entering the package dimensions and weight. I came to this location to check if they would accept my package and one of their staff member said YES. I came back with my package after an hour and another staff member refused to accept it citing that its above their weight limit. Another staff came in with a sticker that read ‘Heavy item >22.5kg’ and used it as an excuse that they do not take items heavier than 22.5 kgs. I mean that sticker is for heavy items, lady, thats why you have it in the first place. I told them that I came an hour before and one of their staff member told me that the package will be accepted, to which she said ‘It doesn’t matter who said what’. They told me to call customer service and I did while standing in front of the post office. The customer service told me that my parcel was in the limits and the post office should be accepting it in all circumstances. I put my phone on speaker and the customer service guy told them that they should accept the package. However, they said no and ignored me and the customer service guy thereafter. What a shame that they don’t even listen to instructions from their own customer service. I wish there was a 0 star rating for them. Btw, another Canada post a few blocks away gladly accepted it.
